I actually went to this siggraph. I remember because it was my first visit to chicago and my brother and i still have these goofy chicago shirts. we also went to the nike store and got a bo jackson video.
anyway, my dad is a founding member siggraph... he's a molecular graphics researcher. you should check out his work: Arthur J. Olson.
