LO-FI SCI-FI SCREENING IN NYC
Transport over to Spectacle Theater in the Williamsburg sector of Brooklyn on March 10th for a special midnight screening of Sci-Fi video shorts presented by Straighttovideo.org. In this not-to-be missed assemblage of lo-fi/sci-fi video art, music videos, and cable access oddities, we will be presenting shorts from as far back as the 70s to some made as recently as last week–including new works created specifically for this program. Help fight the forces of defeat in this physical universe by exploring the infinite wealth of time and space in the realm of the human MIND. Teleporters welcome.

INSTANT REVOLUTION EXHIBITION NYC
“INSTANT REVOLUTION”
OPENING RECEPTION:
FEBRUARY 09, 2012 6:00 PM
Impossible Project Space NYC
425 Broadway, 5th floor
NY 10013
Featuring the work of Gary Baseman, James Franco, Maripol, Mary Ellen Mark and Jennifer Juniper Stratford
My work in the Instant Revolution show are polaroids hot out of the camera. For the past few weeks I've been photographing My Hollywood. Movie stars, directors, editors, even composers who have had huge influence in Hollywood but have since fallen under the radar. Photographing so many of these great creators, reminded me of the true soul of the movies. A soul, that in grave danger of being remade into something more marketable that only closely resembles a soul. The show will feature polaroids of VERNON G WELLS, ANGUS SCRIM, EDDIE DEEZEN, TIBOR TAKACS, DAVID WORTH, JOE DANTE, and a few others.
All photographs were captured with the last original Polaroid Spectra film production run from 2008, one of the first products introduced as part of the Polaroid Classic line.
