THE FESTIVAL OF SWORDS & SORCERY
Today,Saturday, January 17,I will dive into the ultimate movie challenge. 5 sword & sorcery films in a row. I did my fantasy squats and pull ups all week so I may be able to make it through this epic event. The programmer at The New Beverly cinema informed me that Albert Pyun one of my favorite directors will be in attendance. A short list of his accomplishments would include my favorite, RADIOACTIVE DREAMS, ALIEN FROM LA, CYBORG, the KICKBOXER series, NEMESIS, & The SWORD & SORCERER.
Dang... Better go pack some snacks and see if they allow pizza delivery.

FOOTLOOSE
In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Footloose, Bodies International performed a live dance number in dedication to the style and expression of the film's main character, Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon) to open the screening at the New Beverly Cinema. This was Miss High Leg Kick's first performance in Los Angeles and our first together since Fashion Bus. All I can tell you is that her high leg kick really is a powerful thing! As soon as she did it the applause rose higher and later when the film broke in the middle of the movie someone shouted, "bring back those dancers!". By the end of 2009, we made a pact to do a full Shadowplay...of a movie I cannot reveal on the internet, just yet.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2008 started out WEIRD, but turned out to be one of the best years yet.
The highlights we're being a part of the Hijacked Photography show, finishing the first episode of The Multinauts, starting Unlovable, & of course the beloved Fashion Bus! I cant help but mention meeting Paul Stanley, Debbie Carrington, David Lynch, & Clint Howard.
What will 2009 bring?
I'm so excited.
Right now we're working on shooting two new episodes of The Multinauts.
One of which will feature Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti and our debut of working
with a stunt coordinator. OH YEAH !!
Will I finish Unlovable ??
Right now I'm sorting through over 200 contact sheets.
FUN FUN FUN
Sleep very unlikely.
